Centos 7: sedispatch necessary?

Post by ramboid » 2017/11/13 15:44:19

Is sedispatch necessary? I am going trhough the processes running in my box and this program is running. I am wondering if I can stop it and un-install it

Read man sedispatch and man setroubleshootd

They're not essential tools and you don't need them running for the operation of the system but, on the other hand, you may find what they do useful.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

Thank you TrevorH. I disabled it and it seems fine.
