cpanel update failure due to python issues

when trying to update cpanel i got this error

You seem to be using a curl version that is not provided by CentOS but by CPanel. Please ask them for assistance.

That in turn has a chance of breaking your system, because something on your system depends on the non-CentOS version of curl.

When you (or your ISP) installed CPanel, it changed a number of CentOS packages to CPanel packages. It could be said that you are no longer running CentOS. Any advice to rectify the situation we might give here might break your system further. Therefore: please ask for assistance from the CPanel folks. They have their own support venues.
