Do NOT use 7.0. It's over 3 years old and is unsupported and unpatched and has numerous bugs and security vulnerabilities. Only the current version is supported - 7.4.1708 at the moment. Run yum update and get up to date and you will automatically get the latest version of pcsd.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
