Re: creating new logical volume on root partition

Post by qwerty1111 » 2018/01/09 21:54:59

Hi,

Thank you for the answer and sorry for the late reply, I have been away for Xmas holidays and just back on Sunday.

I will try on the lab to reduce the /home and /swap and see how I can make a new partition from the space retrieved.

Thank you

Hello,

I could reproduce the issue.

I tried many times and got the same error while trying to create a 3GB partition on /dev/sda2.

There are the logs and the screenshots showing the reboot.

Is anyone know why I got this error and how to fix it in order to create the partition or logical volume?

Thank you
