Hi again
I have a problem with the login of my CentOS 7 machine. When I start the machine it gets to the login screen, I enter my password, then the screen turns completely white with this message :
"Oh no! Something gone wrong. A problem has occured and the system can't recover. Please log out and try again"
When I log out , it just repeats and I end up with the white screen again.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

Re: Log in problem
Have you tried logging in as Root?? If you can log in as Root, but not in as User then your User's account is jacked.Phenox6 wrote:Hi again

Re: Log in problem
Switch consoles using Ctrl-Alt-F2 (or F3 etc) and login at the command line. Check your logs for errors, start with /var/log/Xorg.0.log and see if that helps.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: Log in problem
This message appears when a Gnome desktop session is started, but no driver with suitable 3D graphics acceleration is found."Oh no! Something gone wrong. A problem has occurred and the system can't recover. Please log out and try again"
What graphics card do you have? If NVidia, try install kmod_nvidia.
Alternatively, try to install a desktop with lower demands on the graphics, like for example XFCE.
