how to install octave with a gui

Hi
I am finding it difficult to install octave with a gui. I do some octave programming and I need to see my plot and everything

There are loads of octave packages in the EPEL repo.

yum --enablerepo=extras install epel-release
yum list \*octave\*
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

Thanks for the rely, I think I octave used in Centos 7 is the most stable octave so a bit old version like 3.8 . Is there a way of getting the version 4 .
coz the old version has no gui. I know Centos is a stable Linux. Is there any testing or something
