Hi, I was hoping that someone could help me with something that bothers me a lot on centos after installing the nvidia proprietary drivers, it works with no problem but I have no boot screen anymore I already tried a lot of instructions on the Internet including updating some grub configuration files but nothing worked so far, any tips?

I have no boot screen anymore
From what point on and when does it recover? What is your kernel command line - it'll be in /proc/cmdline

Thanks for the feedback.

That's the comand:

BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-3.10.0-693.11.6.el7.x86_64 root=UUID=3675cfa5-8d9e-46d1-ab3a-4fc6f66cb2e7 ro crashkernel=auto rhgb quieti rd.driver.blacklist=nouveau nouveau.modeset=0

So, if you mean the flashy but useless twirling graphic you get from the point where you select the right kernel until the screen clears for the display manager to use the screen, then no, it doesn't work with the nvidia drivers.

Yeah I was expecting that, is there a way to at least increase the resolution in that part of the boot for me to at least see the log better? It is like I am seeing the log through a 640X480 window text in a 2K monitor so I can't see a thing.

Sorry, don't know, haven't used the nvidia drivers for about 5 years now.
