Onboard İntel HD 530 and Nvidia Problem !!

Post by pilgrimage » 2018/02/07 12:50:27

Hi I have installed the NVIDIA nVS 310 driver on my computer with the onboard intel graphics card installed and the screen does not open after restarting. The cursor remains on a black screen. But when I turn off the onboard video card from bios, the nvidia driver installs without problems and opens the screen. What can I do to enable the nvidia nvs 310 driver to open when I install the onboard intel video card? Or How do I make a 2 graphics card system boot with CentOS Intel?

Pls Help Me ?

Thankyou very much.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Centos 7 4 Monitor Resolution Problem !!

Post by pilgrimage » 2018/02/08 10:50:56

Hello on my computer 1st card onboard intel hd 530 2nd card external NVidia 310 series. Onboard display card 2 Display port 1 Dvi output is available. The external display card has 2 Displayport outputs. I want to connect 4 monitors to these outputs. I connect 3 monitors from 2 Displayport 1 DVI intel hd 530 port to 1 monitor external display card. I can get 2560X1440 resolution from 1 of my monitors while 3 monitors are connected. When I connect 4.monitor from the External video card then the resolution of 2560X1440 falls to 1920X1080. What could be the reason for this. Is it because of the Nvidia Nouveau driver? With the Xrandr command I can make a resolution of 2560X1440. But the screens are shifting to extented screens this time. I have to use the Centos 7 2 display card. The software needs 4 monitors. A simple C ++ software will work.

Thankyou for support.

Post by pilgrimage » 2018/02/08 13:31:46

I installed the Centos 7 kmod-nvidia driver without any problems. The Nvidia Nvs 310 graphics card has 2 display ports. 2.display port does not recognize CentOS 7 monitor when I connect 2.monitor to DP port. How Can I solution this problem ? How Can I Detect 2.DP Port xrandr or Nvidia settings.

Thankyou very much.

Please don't make duplicate posts about the same problem. I have merged them altogether.

Did you try reading the link I posted?
