Hello guys,
I want to setup Windows Server and Ubuntu for OU and Web server. I now have two choice for VM, one is type 1 (KVM, Xen ...) and type 2 (Virtual Box). As I'm still learning, I was thinking of going with VirtualBox because of interface. I think that Type 1 hypervisor is faster in general. I might be wrong.
Thank
Which virtualization technology to go with Centos 7?

Depending on your needs, if all you want to do is run a guest OS I like VMWare Player. You can get it for both Windows and Linux. I assume your host OS is CentOS 7? Creating a VM in VMW-Player is not hard at all.GTHell wrote:Hello guys,

Now you have a 3rd option to consider.

I picked KVM a long time ago , as this is the most 'native' choice.
The performance is great, and if you get used to KVM - jumping to ovirt/RHV is way easier.
Also KVM does not need graphical.target to run your VMs, which saves resources.
