Hi,
I'm new in the forum. Thanks for this community.
I have Win 10 and Centos 7 installed on a PC, it worked perfectly, until I installed wine to use a win program. I think I update something from the Kernel, and from that moment it does not go beyond the Centos boot screen. If I press "alt + F2" I can enter the terminal. When trying to run startx an error comes out saying that it can not connect to the SERVER of X, and I never get to enter the GUI.
My graphics card is an NVIDIA 1070i
Thanks in advance.

Re: startX
Did you download and install drivers for the video from nvidia? If so then you will need to reinstall those every time the kernel is updated. An alternative solution is to use the packaged version of those same drivers from ELRepo which survive a kernel update (most of the time).
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: startX
The first time install the nvidia drivers. As soon as the GUI did not work, I installed the ones from ElRepo, but even so, I still get the same error.
I do not know if I have to uninstall everything before and start over, but I do not know how to do it.
Thanks for the reply.
