Missing Things in CentOs7

i recently downloaded centos 7 from centos website and installed on my pc.
some important functionalities were missing during the installation process:
1. full installation of OS from dvd iso: this is what we're missing it. once there's a choice to select the needed packages. now it's not available. so we're required of installing all through dvd dump local repository folder or online if local repostory not working. it's a headache to search for all on sites and install them.

2. some functionalities seen in gnome 2 are not seen in gnome 3 [ current version ]. again we have to install "mate desktop" from online. this is second issue.

3. a lot of changes took place in current version and it seems weird.
