Cant login or sometime boot in centOS 7

Post by smit » 2018/05/31 05:35:07

I had dule booted centos 7 with arch linux .I use arch as primary OS and centos via chroot for compiltion of C/C++ Projects . I last time booted in CentOS when I installed it. After that I only use it via chroot (arch-root) . I used upgraded centOS from via chroot . I can still do my regular work with centOS via chroot but I can't boot into it.

sometimes I get dracut-int .....some message and some I boots up but I can't login . as soon as I enterd password the virtual terminal refresesh it self and I can;t login . and sometimes it wont even boot.

is here something I can do from arch linux to boot back into centos ? what more information should I post to solve this problem ?

This might sound dumb -- sorry in advance -- but have you hacked GRUB2?? If you use 40_Custom under /etc/grub.d you can have the system boot any OS you want so long as you configure it.
