Upgrade from CentOS 6 32 bit to CentOS 7 32 bit
Upgrade from CentOS 6 32 bit to CentOS 7 32 bit
I see that there is a CentOS 7 32 bit available now. Congrats on that! I have a system that uses the 32 bit adobe flash projector that I was unable to get converted to CentOS 7 64 bit, so was forced to stick with CentOS 6 for our appliance. I know that there are super techy instructions available on how to convert CentOS 6 32 bit to CentOS 7 64 bit and I was wondering if there are similar instructions for the upgrade from version 6 32 bit to version 7 32 bit? Or are the instructions pretty much the same? My hope / plan is to have one of our cron jobs do the in place update remotely on each player (no human interaction).
Re: Upgrade from CentOS 6 32 bit to CentOS 7 32 bit
Sorry but there is no upgrade path from 6 to 7, not for 64 nor for 32 bit. Any instructions you may find are likely to kill the machine.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
