Hi,
I need to know if any of you have installed (and it works fine) PHP 5.3.3 on CentOs 7. I have to migrate some web sites currently hosted on Debian 6 / PHP 5.3.3 on a new server with CentOS 7 and I have to install PHP 5.3 .3.
Thank you
Stefano
PHP 5.3.3 on CentOS 7
Re: PHP 5.3.3 on CentOS 7
You can't. For a start php 5.3.3 is end of life and already has unfixed security vulnerabilities and I don't think it even builds on CentOS 7. We ship php 5.4.16 in base and other newer versions are available as SCLs or via third party repos like IUS.
The only supported copy of php 5.3.3 that I know of is the one that ships with CentOS 6 which still has a couple of years of life left in it. That ought to be long enough to fix your app to work with a newer php version.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
