I try to install CentOS 7 on iMac Pro and have freeze screen on startup with this message:
Code: Select all
BCMDHD_ExitBootService: ENTER
dhd_os_wifi_platform_set_power: Setting wl_reg_on to 0 succeeded
dhd_os_wifi_platform_set_power: Setting wl_reg_on to 1 succeeded
I install from USB. Use two ways to copy CentOS on USB:
1. With macOS terminal use this command to convert ISO to IMG/DMG:
Code: Select all
hdiutil convert -format UDRW -o *path for target IMG/DMG* *path for source ISO*
Code: Select all
diskutil unmountDisk /dev/disk3
sudo dd if=*path for convert IMG/DMG file* of=/dev/rdisk3 bs=1m
Then I reboot my machine and hold Alt key then choose my USB (it call there EFIBoot) and click "Install CentOS 7". And take freeze screen with message on top in my topic.
I tried with Everything ISO and DVD ISO as well.
Also I try to install with rEFInd Boot Manager but I give absolutely the same result. (And take one more problem - couldn't load then on my general macOS, I could do it only with Cmnd+R mode and change startup disk).
I spend a lot of time and hope anybody could help me to solve this problem
