IBM X3650M3 installing CentOS Problem

Post by BlakeShelton » 2018/09/06 18:39:43

Hello Dears, I am installing CentOS 7 on IBM X3650M3 ( Product ID 7945-D2G ), but I could not find the Hard Drives while installing the Cenos 7. I have 5 Disks in Raid 5. Any help is really appreciated.

What version of CentOS 7? If not 7.5 then try that. Otherwise post the output from lspci -nn | grep -i raid here (you should be able to run that from rescue mode if no other linux available).
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

You boot the install DVD in rescue mode and run it from there.
