Hi All!
I want to find how /proc/meminfo parameters can be used to calculated the memory used in Centos 7. I see total memory used from earlier Centos 6 is equal to TotalMem-TotalFree. But I notice a difference now in Centos 7 compared to Centos6, does the calculation needs modification ?. Please let me know your thoughts..
Centos6:
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 8062624 7947508 115116 548 153244 435292
-/+ buffers/cache: 7358972 703652
Swap: 5242876 2004 5240872
Centos7:
total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 16432976 7213008 6431224 2397280 2788744 6502104
Swap: 8258556 0 8258556
