Hello, I try to install CentOS7 on a Zotac Mini-PC C1327 nano.
System:
Processor: Intel N3450 quad-core 1.1GHz, up to 2.2GHz
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 500
When booting the Device with a bootable USB stick with CentosOS Everything or Minimal on it I get in both cases the following error after clicking on either "Install CentOS 7" or "Test this media & install CentOS 7":
[ 0.000000] Detected CPU family 6 model 92 stepping 9
[ 0.000000] Warning: Intel Processor - this hardware has not undergone upstream testing. Please consult http://wiki.centos.org/FAQ for more information.
What does upstream testing mean and is there a workaround for this problem?
Thanks for your help
Error while installing CentOS 7 on Zotac Mini PC
Re: Error while installing CentOS 7 on Zotac Mini PC
That's not an error, it's just an informational message. Try editing the kernel command line for the install (press tab while the Install CentOS line of the initial menu is displayed) and remove the word quiet from it and see if you get more info. Also you could try the option under the Troubleshooting menu to boot with basic video.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Thanks for your fast reply!
Unfortunatly I could not fix it right now, this what I have done so far:
To enter the menu, I pressed 'e' and was navigated to a screen with the following content:
Then I changed it to:
pressed CTRL+X
Then it loads/checks multiple things for around ten minutes and leaves me at a blank screen.
Your second solution, with the basic video mode results in the same warning.
