I believed a guy on the Fedora IRC who told me Fed is just fine to run for production. Sucker!
Fed is fine for watching TV, but not for the rigors I put it through.
CentOS 7.6 is due any second now, and I'm checking twice a day so I can ditch Fed.
Hating Fed. Can't Wait for 7.6
Re: Hating Fed. Can't Wait for 7.6
It's already in CR and has been for nearly a week. Run yum --enablerepo=cr update to get it. Might also need --enablerepo=cr,epel-testing if using packages from EPEL that needed to be rebuilt for 7.6. Also --noplugins may be required or you may need to adjust the priority assigned to CR.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: Hating Fed. Can't Wait for 7.6
Thanks, good to know.
As I've been running my machines since 7.0 I think it's time for a fresh install, in case I have any malware. Also the formal release is imminent so is worth waiting for. (Don't really like hotwiring stuff)

Re: Hating Fed. Can't Wait for 7.6
I wouldn't expect to see a full GA release for at least another week or so.
