I recently setup CentOS 7.6 VM and join our on-premise Windows Active Directory so Domain users can authenticate without creating local user account. My question is, when I in the GNOME environment, how can I assign permission when perform software update without prompting me the root password?
Thanks

that's good trick, but what about if I want to use that account to add user in GNOME? the "Unlock" icon has been greyed out. Any idea?
