CentOS crashed after update.

Post by hack3rcon » 2018/12/15 09:12:56

Hello.
I updated CentOS 7 x86_64 and when I want to boot via new kernel then CentOS crashed and can't boot. I attached two images.

Any idea?

Thank you.

Your latest kernel doesn't have an initramfs file in /boot. Pick the older kernel then use yum reinstall on the latest kernel which will recreate it.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
