When our CentOS reboots, instead of our wordpress web site, I get a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Test Page. I have to go in and shut down httpd (servicecrl stop httpd) and the run a netstat -tulpn | grep 80 to kill the httpd. Then want a few minutes. Then I can restart the httpd.
The /etc/httpd/conf.d/welcome.conf is deleted. I don't know why the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Test Page comes up and not our wordpress page.
Any assistance is helpful.
Thanks.
Ed.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Test Page after Reboot
Re: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Test Page after Reboot
if I run systemctl --failed
>systemctl --failed
UNIT LOAD ACTIVE SUB DESCRIPTION
● httpd24-httpd.service loaded failed failed The Apache HTTP Server

Re: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Test Page after Reboot
The service httpd is not the same thing as httpd24-httpd. It sounds like you have both the standard httpd package AND the SCL http2.4 package installed at the same time and both are trying to start at boot time.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
