XFCE 4.14 in CentOS 7 repo ?
Does anyone know when xfce 4.14 will filter down into the CentOS repo?
Re: XFCE 4.14 in CentOS 7 repo ?
We don't ship XFCE at all. It's in EPEL not a CentOS repo. Bugs and feature requests for EPEL are done via the Fedora EPEL section on bugzilla.redhat.com
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: XFCE 4.14 in CentOS 7 repo ?
Your CentOS system is 2 whole point releases behind (about 18 months). Current is 7.7.1908, yours 7.5.1804. You need to yum update.
Otherwise, xfce comes from the third party yum repo EPEL. EPEL has rules about what are allowable updates. They have their own section on bugzilla.redhat.com for EPEL bugs so I'd suggest looking there to see if it's already been requested and why it hasn't materialised yet, If you can't find an existing bz entry then create one.

Thank you for explaining I will update CentOs and try once again.
Re: XFCE 4.14 in CentOS 7 repo ?
as far as I know, there's version that's comunity based but not working for rhel. but work on centos 8.

I hope it helps, but it require new centos version. I don't think xfce 4.14 land on centos 7.7, it's already an age OS, I mean gtk2 etc, even some education tools not running anymore on centos 7.7 like packet tracer because they move to gtk3.
Re: XFCE 4.14 in CentOS 7 repo ?
CentOS 7 is gnome3 based and ships gtk3.
