Prevent GRUB2 to create Boot entry in NVRAM

Hi,

I try to install GRUB2 without creating a boot entry into the NVRAM (UEFI). I already tried it with "--no-nvram" parameter but that was no solution.

Is there any possibility to prevent this?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Tom

The machine is a CI/CD machine which re-write the NVRAM a lot of times and I do not want a bricked board.
I want to avoid the NVRAM write and boot CentOS via EFI Fallback (EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.EFI).
