Hi,
Does anyone know if there is full support for the following network firmware in the latest CentOS 7 release? Our network team that was configured is not starting at boot after installing this firmware on our PowerEdge R740. It has happened twice, after ruling out many other things.
Broadcom NetXtreme-E Network Device Firmware 21.4.2

Support for Broadcom NetXtreme-E Firmware?
Re: Support for Broadcom NetXtreme-E Firmware?
I've had several broadcom firmware updates from Dell that have just been plain broken. The last one that was bad broke 803.2ad LACP bonded connections completely. Back it out and wait for the next one. If you have an active support contract with them, report it.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: Support for Broadcom NetXtreme-E Firmware?
Thanks! Given that Network Teams wasn't working correctly, I assumed that there may be other issues under the hood that would be found in time. Since taking the risk is too great on this OS, I decided to revert back to the recommended 20.6.4 in order to keep everything stable.
Best,
Daniel
