CentOS 7.9 problem with mail
CentOS 7.9 problem with mail
Hello everyone! I have a problem with my CentOS. I need to send an email from the command line (mail) but when I try to do it I get a message “smtp-server: This IP [10.0.0.3] is blocked.” 10.0.0.3 is my local IP address. As far as I remember I use postfix. I have no idea what generates this message whether firewall or postfix itself because I did not find anything in the logs. Please help me where to look for the cause of this problem. On the firewall I have ports open in postfix it seems to me that it is also ok (I can log in telnet).

Re: CentOS 7.4 problem with mail
Start by updating from 7.4 which went out of support as soon as 7.5 was released in 2018-04-10. Your system is more than 5 years out of date and has numerous security problems that are known and abused by malicious actors.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
