can we remove the google redirect virus completely???

I have a Google redirect virus which redirects every hit I click on in every search engine, in every browser, to a completely unrelated website. No anti-virus software I've tried can get rid of it. Help.

And, um, this is on CentOS 7, right? And not on, say, Windows?

Do you have more computers than just one? If they all behave similarly and use the same net connection, perhaps your router has been hacked. In that case you'd better get support from the router's manufacturer.
