php 5.5 or php 5.6 support?
Re: php 5.5 or php 5.6 support?
The way Red Hat provides new versions to users is Software Collections (product is RHSCL)
For CentOS users, these are available in centos-scl repository.
See https://lists.centos.org/pipermail/cent ... 21578.html
But now 5.5 is EOL, so I heartily recommend to use 5.6.
The centos-scl repository will be very soon updated (to RHSCL 2.3 content), with php 5.6.25 or 7.0.10 (already available in testing repository)
See https://www.redhat.com/en/about/press-r ... -available
Of course, also available in some 3rd party repositories (like mine), but none are supported by the CentOS project.
