I'm on a fresh install of CentOS 7 w KDE and have TigerVNC installed via c. 11 of the RHEL 7 Administrator's Guide:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation ... -vncserver
The problem is that when I try to login outside my network it won't accept my user password if the screen is locked.
If it is not locked then I can get right in.
If I'm on the LAN it WILL accept my user password while the screen is locked.
And of course I can also get in if the screen is not locked.
This user account is also in /etc/sudoers
I would like to be able to lock the computer, head off-site, and then remote in (using UltraVNC). But currently I have to configure the settings to never require a password after screen lock.
Cannot login to locked session with TigerVNC
