LightRoom for CentOS 7 Linux??
LightRoom for CentOS 7 Linux??
Just a casual question: Is there any plan to release LightRoom for Linux -- the CentOS 7 version. I have noticed that it is available to various other distros, will it ever be ported to CentOS 7?
Re: LightRoom for CentOS 7 Linux??
What do you mean 'LightRoom' ? Could you give more details what it is, please?

It's an Adobe graphic application. This is from May, 2016, and indicates it isn't at all available for Linux. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/7-apps-pro ... ite-linux/ while offering alternatives.
This post indicates that some people have gotten it working with playonlinux.

I thought -- I could be WRONG -- I read some place that Light Room 5 will run natively in some Linux distros. I am 95% sure that one of them for sure is *Ubuntu, but there are only 5-6 such distros. I think CentOS 6.x can run LR 5. It is kind of strange that there has not been a port to Linux, given there are ports to M$ Windoze, as well as Apple.
