Creating cluster of VMs with different Disk Type(IDE/VirtIO) and different Size

Post by pama » 2017/04/20 06:54:15

Hi,
Is it possible to have a cluster of 2 VMs, deployed on two Cent OS 7.3 KVM hosts with two different disk size and disk types. ?
From VM application perspective both VMs have more than recommended storage space and working with both disk types.
Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Yes you can have a cluster like that, just not a shared storage cluster. So a "classic" HA cluster (active/passive) where each node uses their own disks and the other node does not have access to the local disk(s).
