Cinelerra for CentOS 7
Cinelerra for CentOS 7
Hi, where can I (yum) download a fitting Cinelerra for CentOS 7.3? Thanks!
Re: Cinelerra for CentOS 7
I don't see anyone packaging cinelerra for CentOS 7. I suspect your best bet would be to ask nux of the nux-dextop repo if he'd be willing to package it for you.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: Cinelerra for CentOS 7
Thanks, but kdenlive crashed with Segmentation Fault.
Re: Cinelerra for CentOS 7
Copy and unpack '64 bit binary....' form http://cinelerra.org/downloadodysseus wrote:Hi, where can I (yum) download a fitting Cinelerra for CentOS 7.3? Thanks!
Create correct link: sudo ln -s /usr/lib64/libbz2.so /usr/lib64/libbz2.so.1.0
And run ./cinelerra
It works.
Re: Cinelerra for CentOS 7
Thanks a lot, it works! But I had to copy the binary from the package into the compiled directory. It didn`t work out of the box.
Re: Cinelerra for CentOS 7
I have updated a lot of packages with "yum update" and Kdenlive now works. Cinelerra works too, but it's unstable.odysseus wrote:Thanks, but kdenlive crashed with Segmentation Fault.
Re: Cinelerra for CentOS 7
The new Cinelerra 7 is released and is running stable, so far. http://www.heroinewarrior.com/cinelerra.phpodysseus wrote:

A cool Cinelerra icon for the app menu is here. https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1107746/
