I recently switch to CentOS from Xubuntu. What is the login greeter used in CentOS 7.3 and where are its config files? It seems to always default to Gnome Classic and does not remember my choice (Gnome) and I'd like to change that so I don't have to hit the gear icon each time I login. (of course, I may opt for installing Cinnamon, at which time I'll probably want that to be the default.)
Does this use the "Greeter" described at https://help.gnome.org/admin/gdm/stable ... figuration ? I have gconf-editor installed but it does not show /apps/gdm (just /apps ekiga and /apps/gconf-editor).
