I have a QEMU VPS with CentOS 7 and cPanel installed. When I was using centos 6 there were no problems. But since I installed Centos 7 I can see a suspicious process 'imedated' which I never seen it before! It uses high cpu and memory and cause the system crash and get into the trouble of "Out of Memory".
What is this process and why is it making trouble? Is it a BUG? The following link is a question about this process, but the answer of the support team does not make sense!!
https://forums.cpanel.net/threads/what- ... ss.609579/
I googled a lot, but I found nothing related!
I attached part of the system log after last crash.
Operating System: CentOS Linux release 7.4.1708 (Core)
Until now, the only way is to restart the VPS to make it online already.
May you please help me to resolve this issue?

Re: High resource usage of process imedated
We do not ship any file called imedated so I think this is either something installed by your hoster - in which case you should ask them - or it's malware and you should back up your data and reinstall the system.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
