I can install completely, but the problem is that to start the system, need to write to the terminal: startx, when typing, it darkens the screen as if it would start, but returns to the terminal saying that it did not find VGA monitor driver, monitor in the installation, it simply does not start, I do not know how to proceed (remembering that is the 2002 version)tunk wrote:I guess you could try to install RH6.2 as a VM.

I seem to remember that there's a standard VGA driver that should/may work with most graphics cards.
You may have to edit the config files in /etc/X11 (or thereabouts) to get it to work.
Don't ask me how - I guess google is your best friend.

the command to edit would be X -configure, but it does the same thing as the startx, it dims and re-ignites the same error.tunk wrote:I seem to remember that there's a standard VGA driver that should/may work with most graphics cards.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
