Sorry to hear that, the best that I can offer is that there were|are 2-3 decent (not over the top fantastic) Youtube videos. I have learned to save youtube.com video clips to my profile as "bookmarked" or whatever and I refer back to them often to make sure that I am getting 1 detail or another detail managed correctly.

:(

@supertight,

I have improved my RPM building skill a little more over the past 5 weeks. I even created a relocatable RPM only to discover that this practice is now being deprecated and no longer supported as of some date.

Anyway, was this file ever installed for you?

/xmr-stak-cpu-0.x86_64/bin/config.txt

If not, make sure that it is listed under the %files section of your RPM's .spec file.

Let me know what you learn/find out.
Thanks,
War

@supertight, just trying to contribute so that's why I am following up again.

I have learned a little more about RPM builds in the last week.

Did you have xmr-stak-cpu-0.x86_64-0.x86_64/bin/xmr-stak-cpu in your ~/rpmbuild/SOURCES/packageName directory?

Did you have it in your tarball listed with the Source: tag?

Perhaps that is a part of the problem if it is not within your tarball listed with the Source: tag. Yesterday I was building, building again, and rebuilding and realized that little tweaks weren't in my tarball that I had in my packageName subdirectory within my SOURCES directory. Once I corrected that, the rpmbuild worked for me.

Hopefully that helped you.
Thanks,
War
