No expert on this, but I think "MAIL From:", "RCPT To:" etc. are part of the e-mail header which can be set to (almost) anything.
I would guess they are default values for sendmail.

Thanks for your comment.

The problem lies in a different area: If the recipient is a user (i.s.o. root) the recipient is standard not recognized. Sending from a user to root works fine.

I created a new user now, named "Testuser". It doesn't matter if i send mail from user Leon --> Testuser, or from Testuser --> Leon.
In both scenarios the sender is OK, but the recipient is suddenly "Unknown". :?

I don't see the logic. Especially with a freshly installed system, all configurations should be normal and ready to go.

That's why i guess i have to add the recipients in some kind of recipient table or something. But i dunno. Google doesn't help me here.

Any suggestions welcome.
