I used to be ablt to touch /.forcefsck to have my file system check on the next reboot. I understand that this no no longer works, because my filesystem is xfs. Is there a replacement command for this?
Thank you.

Re: testing XFS file system
You have to run xfs_repair manually. When you boot and it wants to run fsck, it invokes /sbin/fsck.$filesystem and the /sbin/fsck.xfs file is a shell script that tells you
echo "If you wish to check the consistency of an XFS filesystem or"
echo "repair a damaged filesystem, see xfs_check(8) and xfs_repair(8)."
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
