I need to run Concrete5 and it requires php 5.6+, however I have been searching this site as well as the Internet in general, and I have not found a method absent of pitfalls/gotchas. Currently I have gotten my new installation of LAMP on Centos 7 up and running (with generous help from people on this forum), so my preference is to avoid problems.
Most of references seemed quite old (e.g. 2015 - 2016) -- any updates for php?
