I have the root file system in read-only when I start my system.
Is there any way to troubleshoot it in order to know what's the root cause?

Scroll back up the console log using Shift-PgUp and see what errors are listed. Are you being dropped into emergency mode?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
