Libcgroup is deprecated in CentOS 7?

Post by adailjuniorbr » 2018/08/02 22:29:05

Hi!

The RedHat 7 Documentation ( https://access.redhat.com/documentation ... roup_tools ) tells that libcgroup is deprecated and enforce the use of systemd cgroup functionalities. We didn't found anything about it in the CentOS 7 documentation.

Is libcgroup deprecated in CentOS 7 as well?

Thanks

CentOS is a rebuild of RHEL. We follow what they do.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
