High DPI Sclaing

I am currently in a CS class where we are using linux for the first time. We are running the latest CentOS on VirtualBox and myself, and many others, are having scaling issues with our laptops. I am personally using a surface book so I have the CentOS resolution set to 1320x866 since that's the only 3:2 resolution. I was wondering if there is a good fix for this since it's quite annoying looking at blurry text all the time.
