Create Live CD with preloaded software

Hey, I'm trying to build a live CD with software I wrote preinstalled. Basically, I'm trying to create a kiosk-type CD that can be loaded into a computer with a default CentOS installation plus my program. The documentation I've found is a little bit confusing (I haven't done much server configuration or worked with kickstart files). Are there any good tutorials or resources people know of to help with this?
