Your issue is somewhere in /etc/hosts file.
What is the whole contents of it?

What is your DNS please in /etc/resolv.conf ?

You need to find your name resolution problem.
You have /etc/hosts with an entry about your free IPA.
Check if the IP is not wrong.
Also, you have no DNS in your /etc/hosts.
Try setting a line with 127.0.0.1
Edit: /etc/hosts should be /etc/resolv.conf

I think the previous mention of /etc/hosts needing a 127.0.0.1 entry was a typo and meant to say /etc/resolv.conf which currently has no nameserver line.
CentOS 5 died in March 2017 - migrate NOW!
