A way to remove or change the default hotkey for firefox "back" action

Post by houdinifxtd » 2018/10/18 00:18:49

Hello, this is my first post here. I'm looking for a way to force change a default hotkey for firefox's back button. I think ubuntu users can do it somehow but I'm not sure about centos 7.

in linux the default hotkey for pressing back in firefox is not nice for anyone who might have a muscle memory imprint from using a mac - used to pressing alt + left arrow to jump whole words when editing.

in linux firefox, doing this subconsciously will cause you to go back to the last webpage, and potentially lose paragraphs of the text input form on the page you were about to submit. Is there a way for me to override it myself in centos 7?

Thanks for any help!
