I need to activate the Java plugin in a navigator (e.g Firefox) to access to a VPN (it is the only way, no other valid)
Has anyone achieve that in CetOs 7: to activate JAVA plugin in Firefox
There are a lot of answers outside but none works! (.. as usual)
Java Plugin Firefox
Re: Java Plugin Firefox
As far as I know, the java plugin relies on an API that has been removed from firefox 60+ (possibly earlier than that but we ship the ESR version and went from 52 where it worked to 60 where it's been removed). Can you not use javaws to use this?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: Java Plugin Firefox
I'm in the same situation.
If the VPN is needed, you will have to downhrade a version (maybe 2) of the Firefox in order to use that.
