Hi All,
Earlier I was using the Centos Version--> CentOS-7-x86_64-DVD-1611.iso , Now I wanted to use the latest one available--> CentOS-7-x86_64-DVD-1809-01.iso for my application but I found httpd rpm is not installed automatically (/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf, /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf not found errors), Do I need to install these httpd rpm's externally , don't they come with the latest version automatically? will installing this httpd rpm can fix these above errors(/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf, /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf not found) ?
Thanks in advance , Anybody please help...
httpd rpm's not automatically installed in CentOS-7-x86_64-DVD-1809-01.iso.

The minimal install (which is default) has never included the httpd packages. In order to get httpd included in an install you must have changed which package set was due to be installed. You'll need to pick the same option in the newer version.
All installs can be updated to the latest by running yum update so there is no need to reinstall.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

For the record, yum install httpd mod_ssl will give you the packages you need, there's no need to reinstall with different selections.
