Samba 4 AD DC with FAM?

Hi,

I needed to compile Samba 4 (v4.9.4) with FAM support in order to notify connected Windows clients on file/folder change.

As there is not so much information about Samba with FAM on the internet i wanted to know if this is a good and maybe even a best practice solution?

Below some more information about my setup:

- CentOS 7 (latest)
- Samba4 (as AD DC)
- gamin package for FAM support and —with-fam configure parameter at compile time

Before this connected (Windows) clients needed to refresh (F5) in order to see file/folder changes.
