I using one of the centos images and found the following problem while adding the following packages.
1. Can not change the centos to GUI mode.
2. Cannot launch atom software at the command line.
3. Can not launch the GUI GNOME.
Instaló g GNOME and atom software
Re: Instaló g GNOME and atom software
What did you try?1. Can not change the centos to GUI mode.
What is "atom software"?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: Instaló g GNOME and atom software
This is GUI editor app to get away from vi to create files...... The big problem is the default setting for this OS, console
systemctl get-default
which returns as :
non-graphical systems output would normally be
multi-user.target
you need to change to
systemctl set-default graphical.target

Re: Instaló g GNOME and atom software
I have changed the centos 7 to graphical.target as the default..... Then I install the GNOME Desk top....... How can I invoke GNOME so it will emulate a GUI from booting. Instead of getting the console?
