So, after installing a new graphics card, the onboard audio doesn't output sound.
The soundcard is present, I can pick it with pavucontrol but no audio is output, pavucontrol shows as if it is outputting sound.
Also, I checked it on alsamixer, nothing is muted, everything was maxed.
The only audio output that works is the hdmi through the monitor.
On another note, my extra hdd that I had on fstab can't be mounted on boot anymore and mounting after boot requires my root password.
I had to remove it from fstab to be able to boot at all, that also happened immediately after installing the graphics card.

You do realize you've asked questions requesting specific answers while not supplying any info that may help narrow the problem down.
What operating system/version are you running?
Perhaps after your reply, we may be able to figure out how your fstab mount now fails.

Which graphics card? It sounds like your audio has been rerouted through your new graphics card. Most folk want that to happen. So, after installing a new graphics card, the onboard audio doesn't output sound.
